About the Event
This November, during Trans Awareness Week, we’re bringing our community together for the 7th. Annual Kicking Out Transphobia Tournament — a grassroots celebration where sports, community, and activism come together to kick transphobia out of the game and beyond.
our last KOT Tournament, our community has continued to turn solidarity into action.
💜 We raised $4,461 to support Philadelphia’s trans communities through organizations including Rainbow Room, Ark of Safety, and Morris Home.
🌈 We have donated more than $7,000 to organizations including Morris Home, Rainbow Room, Southern Trans Youth Emergency Fund, SMYAL, Rainbow Railroad, and the Transgender Education Network of Texas.
🌎 We hosted 10+ events across the United States, Mexico, and the Philippines, bringing people together.
⚽ We supported Team TransTastic in participating in three tournaments across the United States, creating opportunities for trans athletes to compete, connect, and represent their community.
